The Glebe Shul, named for the Ottawa neighbourhood in which it was started, serves as a uniting force for the city’s vibrant, urban Jewish community. A shul without walls, we’re creating opportunities for students, young professionals and new families to explore Judaism, build relationships and support volunteer services around the city.
Our innovative, member-driven approach to programming fuels a sense of ownership and community spirit among members, covering a diverse range of activities such as holiday celebrations, educational workshops, cultural programming – and everything in between! We meet for Shabbat services, delicious home cooked meals and spirited conversation.
